Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) urged Congress to convene a special session on AI and America's future, calling the race toward superintelligence momentous: advances could greatly expand healthcare access, targeted treatments and safer food production, yet too few in Congress are focused on it — with data, privacy and physical safety as the first priority. She stressed it's not doomerism: 'This is happening whether or not we want it to.'
