Matt Slotnick argues that, just as the rise of agents spawned new data stores like turbopuffer, Systems of Record must evolve for agent-native usage patterns — and they haven't. Today an SOR sees state change from x to y but has almost no idea why, since the activity happens entirely off-platform by other agents.
