Designer's AI pixel-sprite pipeline has churned out 311,000 game assets

Designer tomjohndesign detailed his AI asset-generation pipeline, which has produced 311k pixel sprites, and plans to spin it into a standalone monetizable tool.
- Characters are base rigs of Three.js shapes with per-character limb/accessory properties; shapes are rotated per direction, captured, colored, pixel-rendered, then depth-passed and shadowed
- He incrementally solved side-separation, per-character walk-cycle rigging, lighting dynamics, and edge detection against backgrounds
- After repeated iteration, the AI can nearly one-shot new models and he barely checks its output
- He calls the pipeline "insanely good" and easily monetizable
