Per a Business Insider exclusive, Salesforce has held talks to acquire AI customer research platform Listen Labs for around $2 billion. The talks aren't finalized and could still fall apart; neither party commented.
- Listen Labs, cofounded in 2023 by Alfred Wahlforss and Florian Juengermann, provides AI-driven market analysis for brands including Anthropic, Google, and Nestlé; it was last valued at $500M
- Salesforce has been pushing into enterprise agents and previously considered acquiring Hugging Face before it sold to Nvidia for $12.9B
- The deal would join a recent wave of AI M&A: Nvidia's $12.9B Hugging Face acquisition and Stripe's $8B purchase of OpenRouter
Quote-tweeter ditzikow notes that after a few cycles, more people regret not selling than regret selling when the bull run ends.
