Solo founder claims two AI-designed drugs, now fundraising for pharma startup

Douglas Yao is fundraising to build a pharma company where a single human operator runs the entire drug discovery process with AI and robotics. As proof, he developed PAC-832, billed as the world's first selective GalR1 antagonist for Alzheimer's, and PAC-3310, a selective M4 agonist for schizophrenia, alone with frontier AI models and liquid-handling robots, zero outside investment.
