LlamaParse Comes to ChatGPT, Turning Messy PDFs and Tables into Structured Context
llama_index · x · 2026-09-10
A week after launching on Claude, LlamaIndex has brought LlamaParse to ChatGPT's plugin directory. While ChatGPT can read PDFs, it struggles with messy scans, dense tables, spreadsheets, and charts. The LlamaParse connector offers a specialized document-understanding API that balances token cost and accuracy: parse documents into clean Markdown, JSON, or HTML; extract fields into custom schemas; search across document collections; and classify or split files into logical sections. Live now in the ChatGPT plugin directory.
