Light Origins' Light REACT trains a generalist Transformer policy across a wide range of hardware impairments, letting robots adapt at runtime via whole-body in-context learning instead of halting on failure. Chris Paxton notes redundancy is a key advantage of the humanoid form factor: maximum uptime even as robots take damage.
