agent-progress: open-source Claude Code plugin adds tqdm-style progress bars with self-correcting ETA
yuntiandeng · x · 2026-09-09
csinva released agent-progress, a Claude Code plugin that adds tqdm-style progress bars with updating ETA to the statusline for any long-running job. A model in the loop decides how to observe progress and what to measure against, handling scripts that narrate stages, write files silently, or stay quiet for an hour. The ETA self-corrects, and crashes come back with a skull and a report beside the conversation. Output flows exactly as before—the plugin only adds the bar.
