GPT Image 2.5 style transfer tested: Flare beats Sunburst, 2.0's spotty texture gone
round · x · 2026-09-09
@thefinnmckenty tested GPT Image 2.5 style transfer on Flare and Sunburst in floraai, and it nailed almost all of them:
- Flare performed slightly better than Sunburst, consistent with GPT Image 2.0, where Medium quality usually beat High at style transfer (reason unclear)
- None of the gross spotty texture artifacts that plagued 2.0 appeared
- Verdict: OpenAI "absolutely cooked" with this one
Shared prompt template: recreate the content of image 1 using image 2's medium, color palette, mood, rendering technique, saturation, and textures.
