A results post from Anthropic's economic scenarios thread: against a 2%/yr no-AI baseline, 2030 GDP is +1.6% (modest), +8.3% (substantial, AI on 1/5 of cognitive tasks), and +32% (extreme, AI on half of tasks). The authors stress the wide range of uncertainty.
