Inside Anthropic's model: five parameters define any AI scenario

A technical post from Anthropic's economic scenarios thread: the model uses CES aggregation over task instances (σ=0.5) done by labor or capital. A scenario is a path for five parameters—m (share of tasks AI affects), d (diffusion across instances), a (log cost saving per instance), ψ (automation share), and ρ (new tasks per automated task)—plus search frictions.
