threepointone: side projects should shift to 'personal armour' against autonomous AI attacks
threepointone · x · 2026-09-09
Developer threepointone (Sunil Pai) revisited his claim that in 2025 everyone's side project shifts from "make a website" to "build a personal AI" — saying he was otherwise correct, just delayed by a few months.
He then pushed further: how do we make "build personal armour" a sexy side-project endeavour? He argues the space of "security against autonomous attacks and entities" needs a million experiments, as capable AI agents will require everyday defenses.
