A security executive at a top utility company says they waited months for access to Anthropic's Mythos after release, and Anthropic told them the White House was involved in approving access—leaving the company unsure whether the government or the lab was blocking them. They also lacked access to OpenAI's most cyber-capable August release for a select group, and will finally get both models this fall.
