Toby Ord extends the discussion: he originally thought AI-prompted images couldn't count as human art because the prompter's contribution carries so little information. But he calculates that the information in an image prompt — a few hundred bytes, a few paragraphs — is similar to the information a photographer contributes when taking a photograph, undermining that intuition.
