Google Pours $15B Into Finnish AI Infrastructure With 22-Year Nuclear Power Deal

Google is investing $15 billion in AI infrastructure in Finland and has signed a 22-year agreement to buy up to half the output of a nuclear power plant — its first nuclear energy deal outside the US.

The deal is another clear signal of where the AI race is heading: AI needs abundant, reliable energy, and nuclear is increasingly the go-to answer.
