Meta launches Muse, a 24/7 personal AI agent; Zuckerberg recruited Signal's founder for its secure VM

On the Sources podcast, Mark Zuckerberg unveiled Muse, Meta's biggest AI bet yet: an agent with its own virtual computer that works for users around the clock. He wants to give "every person in the world a very capable personal agent" usable by non-technical family members. To build trust, Zuckerberg personally helped recruit Signal's founder Moxie Marlinspike (with Nat Friedman) to build a confidential VM even Meta can't see into. Muse connects to Instagram/Facebook including business and ad tools; Alex Heath's hands-on calls it "OpenClaw for normies."
