500K replicas of OK intelligence scare this AI worker more than a god model

The author argues much of what's coming in AI won't come from one all-seeing god model that can one-shot everything, but from deploying an insane number of replicas of merely OK intelligence at problems. Daily users know current AI isn't very scary yet — but he says he has no mental model for 500K replicas working together, and that realization scares him more about the future than ever.
