The US Senate committee responsible for commerce and technology policy has no AI hearings scheduled for the next four months; its top priority is instead the Protect College Sports Act.
In the same thread, Anthropic's EvanHub stated the team earnestly believes AI could kill all humans — he puts the risk above 10% within the decade — and that Anthropic is trying its best but has no plan yet to solve superintelligence alignment and isn't clearly on track to.
