Matt Shumer's Astra agent builds its own simulation with agents inside it

Matt Shumer dropped a computer into the environment of his Astra-powered agents, and one agent autonomously coded its own simulation — complete with agents living inside it, simulations all the way down. He admits the setup is somewhat leading (give an agent a computer that can run simulations and it will), but the agent still made its own design choices. "Simulation theory doesn't sound so crazy after all."
