Users Report Astra Burns Through Subscription Limits ~10x Faster at Medium Reasoning
cto_junior · x · 2026-09-09
Developer ctojunior reports that Astra isn't worth using even on the Pro plan: at medium reasoning it burns limits roughly 10x faster than sol. Another user, @xjdr, says he burned through 3 limit resets in one day on routine tasks (medium, no fast mode), suspecting a Codex bug — otherwise Astra seems unusable under subscriptions. A first-hand accounting complaint about quota economics that paying users care about.
