Andy Matuschak open-sources Obsidian plugin for interactive, editable audio transcripts

Independent researcher Andy Matuschak released an open-source Obsidian plugin, interactive-transcripts, that turns audio files into interactive, editable transcripts embedded in ordinary Markdown documents.
Key features:
- Command-click any part of the transcript to play the audio from that point
- Delete regions like normal text; playback skips removed segments
- Copy/paste regions while preserving playback support
- Press Return twice to split the transcript and interleave normal Markdown
Currently Apple Silicon only for local transcription; the plugin is open-sourced on GitHub.
