Paul Bakaus ported Impeccable's AI frontend design engine to Rust: the hooks that catch "AI slop" after each edit now run in 10ms, with 4× faster hooks and 2× faster file scans in benchmarks, no Node setup required, and one rule engine across the CLI, browser extension, and live mode.
GPT Image 2.5, released the same day, is already integrated into Impeccable 4.3 — generated illustrations can now sit directly on custom backgrounds with native transparent assets (white petals stay white, gaps between leaves stay transparent). Other recent updates: stricter comp-to-code fidelity checks, per-app design rules in monorepos, DeepSeek Harness support, and a VS Code Marketplace install for Copilot.
Impeccable markets itself as "the missing design vocabulary for agents," supporting Codex CLI, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Gemini CLI and more; the post includes many user endorsements calling it the best UI design skill of the year.
