OpenAI ships ChatGPT Images 2.5 with region edits, Sketch, and new API models

OpenAI released ChatGPT Images 2.5: faster and more natural-looking generation, detail-consistent multi-turn editing, and comment-based edits of specific regions. It adds a Sketch mode (type "@ Sketch" to turn a drawing into an image) plus poster and merch templates. Rolling out to all ChatGPT, Work, and Codex users, with Flare and Sunburst models available via API.
