GPT-image-2.5 has fully rolled out to GPT and Codex. Official improvements: faster generation, better reference image consistency, consistency across multiple edits, and comment-based editing. Metadata still reads 2.0 so version can't be detected; API pricing is unchanged from GPT-image-2. Hands-on: smearing/artifact issues improved slightly, but multi-edit consistency is notably stronger.
