Google Cloud's August AI infrastructure roundup highlights: Filestore now runs on a Colossus-based backend with IOPS provisionable independently of capacity and deep GKE integration for agentic swarms sharing datasets; and, in partnership with Anyscale, gVisor sandboxes are now available in distributed Ray clusters on GKE, offering stronger isolation than containers with fast startup and low memory overhead.
