OpenAI: 10,000 coordinating AI agents solved Navier–Stokes in 88 hours

OpenAI says an internal model group reached a Navier–Stokes solution in 88 hours using 10,000 coordinating AI agents, under its strict frontier-eval safeguards, calling the ongoing-trained model a step-function benchmark improvement. Researcher Michael Xie adds that half of open problems are no longer open at eval TTC scale.
