Open source AI agent framework OpenClaw released v2026.9.3 with a massive scale: 1,844 pull requests from 190 contributors.
Highlights:
- Reliability: updates recover cleanly and sessions reconnect faster after interruptions
- Browser automation: watch agent browser actions live; native browser tabs in the Mac app that persist across conversations
- Collaboration: share chats via revocable links
- Cloud execution: run repository-backed work in the cloud
- Meetings: search saved meeting transcripts

Setup also improves: connection screens now lead with the actual problem and fix, remote setup uses a single Gateway secret field, local setup generates a token by default, and guided setup can complete without configuring an AI provider.
