Astra controls a real robot arm to paint the Golden Gate Bridge, improving over attempts

Developer @cdngdev hooked Google's Astra up to a real robot, a paintbrush, and a camera, then asked it to paint the Golden Gate Bridge in real life. The model figured out how to control the robot on its own and progressively got better with each attempt — the timelapse is impressive. A striking embodied-AI demo of closed-loop perception and fine motor control in the physical world.
