Unverified: GPT Image 2.5 reportedly launched with precise point-editing, but no official word
xiaohu · x · 2026-09-09
Chinese blogger xiaohu claims GPT Image 2.5 has launched — allegedly faster, more photorealistic, with much stronger editing that supports precise point-to-point local edits (just describe the region you want changed), plus direct template/layout reference-based creation.
Caveat: this comes from a self-media account with no official OpenAI announcement yet, so treat it as unverified.
