- When the author first visited China's robotics scene in early last year, humanoid data collection centers were just starting in Shanghai; by her count, at least 90 are now operating or planned nationwide.
- Teleop data is enormously valuable but painful to collect at scale — China is turning that bottleneck into infrastructure, which may be its deepest moat.
