Cognition, maker of Devin, raised over $2B at a $48B valuation led by a16z, Accel, Founders Fund, General Catalyst, and Avenir. Run-rate revenue has grown from $492M to nearly $900M since its May round. Investor Jennifer Li argues the future needs an independent, model-agnostic agent company as models improve and agents become universal.
