With AI help, he modified the code to generate at non-standard phases (17k+0, 17k+1, 17k+9, 17k+13) and observed no severe artifacts—only possible intermittent issues with dialogue timing and the ending frame that need rigorous testing to distinguish from noise.
He also notes that still-image training approaches using 1-frame videos fall into the 17k+1 case, and is soliciting feedback from anyone who has trained off the standard phase.
