MacStories' Viticci open-sources Apple Frames CLI for agent-driven screenshot framing
rudrank · x · 2026-09-09
MacStories editor Federico Viticci released frames-cli, a free open-source CLI that frames Apple device screenshots and screen recordings with official product bezels. It auto-detects devices, supports all frame colors, batch processing, image/video merging, and v1.4 adds transparent-background video output. Built on Python/Pillow and ffmpeg, it ships with a skill so coding agents can automate App Store screenshot production.
