NYT: OpenAI says unreleased model cracked Navier-Stokes in 88 hours

The New York Times (Cade Metz) reports OpenAI claims its latest AI technology solved the Navier–Stokes existence and smoothness problem, one of the Millennium Prize Problems, calling it the most dramatic sign yet that AI is fundamentally transforming higher mathematics.
