Gary Marcus rebuts Jensen Huang: GPT-6 as AGI is a repeat of GPT-5 and o3 hype
GaryMarcus · x · 2026-09-09

Gary Marcus disagrees, pointing to the same declarations around GPT-5 and o3 — neither of which delivered what was promised — plus Elon Musk's unfulfilled pledge of a million cybercabs by end of 2020. "None of it was true," Marcus says, framing AGI announcements as a recurring script.
