Qwen 3.8 27B writes a 3D game locally in 12 hours, consuming 11M tokens of design spec

Inspired by Bijan Bowen's Subway FPS video, a Redditor stress-tested Qwen 3.8 27B (q4xl) at building a 3D graphics game locally. Using a 267KB, 26K-line DESIGN.md plan generated by Fable 5.1, they ran llama-server with a PI agent (120k context + vision, CPU offload, MTP for speed). The setup read 11M tokens and wrote 3.2M tokens over roughly 12 hours of continuous work, producing a playable result — a demonstration of what open models can do on a home computer.
