OpenAI launches GPT-Image-2.5 Flare and Sunburst image models in the API

OpenAI has released two new image models in the API: GPT-Image-2.5 Flare and Sunburst, touting sharper detail, stronger style adherence, and more control over edits.
Developer chefbrent noted that the launch video itself was edited by Astra in DaVinci Resolve, a hands-on example of the models fitting into real production workflows.
