Microsoft researcher Sébastien Bubeck publicly rebutted accusations from mathematician @alpoge, denying that terms were ever locked: 'nothing at all was locked, we were just willing to talk but you didn't talk to us.' He says the team was willing to hold as many discussions as needed to reach resolution, calling the characterization untrue.
