OpenMAIC v1.0 turns AI from course generator into an iterated learning agent, demoed at UNESCO Digital Learning Week
thetripathi58 · x · 2026-09-09
Open-source AI education project OpenMAIC shipped v1.0: instead of just generating a course from a topic, an AI agent now plans and builds the course from your own materials, and you keep chatting with it to revise, expand, or redirect as you learn.
The team demoed it to educators worldwide at UNESCO Digital Learning Week in Paris, framing the mission as letting anyone turn what they want to learn into a classroom that teaches, explains, shows, and interacts. Code is on GitHub.
