AI-designed drug rentosertib shows 3-4 year biological age reversal across six aging clocks

Insilico Medicine's AI-designed drug rentosertib, built by pairing one AI for target discovery (TNIK, 18 months to candidate) with another for molecule generation, is in Phase III for pulmonary fibrosis. A Nature Biotechnology analysis of its 42-patient trial shows six independent aging clocks (Harvard, Oxford, Peking University, Insilico) all read treated patients as biologically younger — up to 3-4 years by week 4, one clock saying 6 — with protein shifts matching age-drifts in 55,000+ UK Biobank profiles. Caveats: small sample, sick patients, and the best lung-function dose wasn't the best anti-aging dose. Nobel laureate Michael Levitt cites cross-model agreement as the convincing factor.
