Netlify adds GPT-6 Astra, Gemini 3.8 Flash, Claude Fable 5.1 and smarter Agent Runner scoping

Netlify shipped a batch of updates over the past two weeks:
- GPT-6 Astra, Gemini 3.8 Flash, and Claude Fable 5.1 are now available via Netlify's AI Gateway and Agent Runners with zero configuration — call them directly from Netlify Functions using the OpenAI SDK without managing API keys.
- Smarter Agent Runner scoping: ambitious prompts for brand-new projects previously could exhaust the credit budget mid-run and end up Cancelled. Agents now scope work intelligently, building a partial working version plus a plan for next steps so you get a preview within budget.
- Netlify is also running a WebMCP Challenge with credits and prizes.
