- An investigation by Gamers Nexus, Level1Techs and independent researchers found LG Smart TVs scan local networks to identify phones, PCs, printers and smart-home devices, and collect nearby Wi-Fi names and device identifiers.
- The TVs run ACR tracking and can record and transcribe audio even in standby mode.
- Researchers also uncovered webOS flaws that could enable remote code execution, still under responsible disclosure.
