At IFA Berlin, Lenovo said its AI PC market share has climbed to 25.1% globally. IDG president Luca Rossi argues the 'ChatGPT moment' for AI PCs is happening now, driven by enterprises facing steep cloud token bills. Lenovo unveiled Yoga laptops with NVIDIA RTX Spark chips running 100B+ parameter models in a 1.6kg chassis, and upgraded its Qira (Tianxi in China) agent into a system-level AI spanning PC, tablet, phone and watch — running on 16GB PCs and any Android 17 phone, processing data locally. Rossi also expects memory prices to keep rising for 3-4 quarters, with supply-demand balance returning by 2028-2029.
