Researcher on the prompt-credit fight: if everyone is close to a result, it's the wrong problem

Amid infighting over credit for prompting a model's capability, AI researcher Sami Ramanabi offers two takes:
- To academics: if multiple groups are working on the same problem and it's already within reach, it's probably the wrong problem to work on
- To industry: for labs whose business is training models for capability, the more people demonstrate the model's capabilities, the better — which is why labs benefit from these credit fights
