Mistral raises €3B to scale training and inference compute for sovereign AI

Mistral co-founder Arthur Mensch announced the company has raised €3B to scale training and inference compute, aiming to make open and sovereign AI reach the technology frontier. Hugging Face's julienc shared that HF is upgrading its infra to host "Le Chaton Fat," hinting a new Mistral model is coming to the platform.
