Google Cloud publishes developer guide to cutting Gemini token usage in agents

Google Cloud Tech published an article guiding developers on using fewer Gemini tokens in agents: every token an agent sends must be read, attended to and reasoned over by the model, and most tokens are not the carefully crafted ones. Trimming them cuts cost and improves reasoning efficiency in agent workflows.
