Runway acquires Kinetix team for 3D motion and robotics world models

Runway announced the Kinetix team is joining the company. The Paris-based team specializes in 3D human motion and physically grounded video generation, which will advance Runway's research into world models for robotics.
The acqui-hire strengthens Runway's European presence as it works toward simulating the world.
