Responding to NVIDIA's claim that physical AI is an order of magnitude larger than digital AI ("every industrial company will soon become a robotics company" — Jensen Huang), Earthling VC's arianghashghai agrees with the direction but calls most VC signaling disingenuous.
Key points:
- A quantifiable TAM for robotics and its derivative innovations isn't feasible right now — the boundary is unclear
- "10x bigger than AI" is a platitude, not a serious estimate
- Ironically, VCs parroting this thesis simultaneously reject early-stage opportunities like service-bot companies as "too niche"
