UK MP introduces world's first bill to ban superintelligent AI development

UK MP Alex Sobel has introduced ControlAI's Artificial Superintelligence Security Bill in Parliament with cross-party support - the first bill anywhere aimed at banning superintelligent AI development. Sponsors cite rogue AI swarms, cyberattacks and warnings from Nobel laureates and AI CEOs that superintelligence poses extinction-level risk.
