Researcher Pushes Back on Claims OpenAI Snoops in User Chats

Responding to accusations that OpenAI accesses users' chats to scoop results, BlackHC says he finds it highly unlikely: the reputational risk would be enormous, the act would be "cartoonishly wrong," and he expects insiders would speak out quickly. He disagrees with some OpenAI policy decisions but believes people there are trying to do the right thing.
